Several months ago, we received all the unused video footage taken of Nick when “Turning Point” filmed a story on First Descents.  We met with the producers and asked them to combine various clips and design a story about Wacky Warriors based on Nick’s words.

The first time I watched it, I was out of sorts for a few days.  The second time I watched it, especially with hearing Lee’s voice, I cried.  Now, each time I watch it, I smile and think, “Atta kid, Nick!  You expressed yourself perfectly!”  My heart soars hearing his words that reflects wisdom of an old soul and infinite hope of a young man.

Our daughter is getting married tomorrow.  She is wrapping my charm necklace laced with several tokens that represent his spirit around her bouquet.  So, as she shares her love of her brother in this quiet gesture, please feel free to share this link of Nick’s message as my gesture of love.
