A big thank you to all of you that participated as volunteers, players, coaches, parents, umpires, Wacky supporters and Cuties! We will be announcing the final numbers of the generous donations that were made this weekend early next week.  It was the best tournament we’ve hosted yet!!

Wacky Warriors kicked off the tournament on Thursday with Opening Ceremonies, a mini-clinic with the Salt Lake Community College softball team and a skills contest.  Prizes included Ringor turf shoes, bat bags, Wacky drawstring back packs and pajama bottoms, Ringor athletic tees and gift certificates from Dick’s Sporting Goods.  Here are the winners of the skills:

Tournament games were held Friday and Saturday.  Several Cuties came out to throw the first pitch or just to cheer on their team.  Sportsmanship and compassion were rampant at all three ballparks!
