Donations Made! (…and some FD pictures…)

Finally, I have had the time to finish up the numbers from the events we have hosted this year. I so crazy happy to announce that we mailed out donation checks yesterday to:

First Descents – $25,000
CureSearch – $25,000
TitanTough21 Foundation – $2,000

These donations could only have been made due to the generosity and support of our very own brigade of Wacky Warriors!  Because of YOU, 25 individuals will attend an outdoor adventure camp for young adult cancer survivor/fighters next year.

Because of YOU, we are helping to fund a critical clinical trial to find a cure for childhood cancer.

Because of YOU, Reagan Everett has a smidgen of financial relief as she continues on her journey with Li Fraumeni, and a new-found community of those that love and support her.

As promised, here are a few (actually, quite a few) of my favorite pictures from our First Descents camp last month.  With the exception of a few group shots, I refrained from posting pictures of the campers to respect their personal experience. However, I thoroughly enjoyed exploiting the staff…

The group under Delicate Arch. I’m sitting because I’m seriously thinking I’m going to roll off the mountain.

Feeling proud for the climb up; didn’t yet realize how scary it would be to climb down.

And here is how we got down…
